On July 4th, 1776, the American Colonies declared their independence from Great Britain. This is considered the birthday of the United States, and the Fourth of July is now a holiday celebrated throughout the country. This screensaver features a night view of the Capitol with an animated effect of fireworks bursting in the sky. Also, it has a set of sound effects that match the animation.

Although this all sounds fun at first, the screensaver becomes annoying after a while, since the scene remains the same all the time, and the repetitive sound of the firecrackers can get on your nerves. Also, unlike other screensavers by this company, this one does not have a control panel for customizing its features. And on top of this, its installation wizard requires you to install the ScreensaversList toolbar and changes your Web browser's homepage in order to complete the installation process. Given all these disadvantages, you may want to try the screensaver only if you are an American, have a strong patriotic spirit and don't mind the screensaver's drawbacks.
